As I write this, the CH staff are sitting in our new office in the greater Albuquerque area. It’s only our second official day here and this represents a new move for College Horizons – never before have we had a centralized office! What’s more is that we are now situated on the Santa Ana Pueblo lands (very fitting for us), in an office complex located across the street from the Santa Ana Star. As we unpack and get settled, we are already gearing up for an active fall. All this and just in time for our annual board meeting tomorrow!
This is shaping up to be a pretty exciting year – immediately following our two day board meeting we’ll be headed up to Santa Fe for the weekend to attend Indian Market. If you’re in the area, be sure to stop by and grab some SWAG from our booth. We’ve got balloons, fly swatters and new materials – along with a raffle where folks can donate money to purchase raffle tickets for a beautiful piece of donated art by GH alumna and Ojibwe artist/illustrator, Aza Erdrich! Thank you Aza for donating this wonderful piece to us!
